About This Call
Since 2002, the City of Sheridan Public Arts Committee (SPAC) has invited artists from across the country to participate in the On Loan Program, bringing dynamic public art to the heart of downtown Sheridan. Selected sculptures will be exhibited year-round in outdoor display, enduring Wyoming's diverse weather conditions. Artists may submit up to five sculptures.
Submission deadline is March 15, 2025. Submissions must include 3 to 6 images per artwork. Selected artists will be notified by March 31, 2025. Accepted works must be delivered to Sheridan between May 1 - June 10, 2025 (weather permitting). Sculptures must have a minimum height of 16 inches and be structurally sound and durable for outdoor display. Fragile, hazardous, or inappropriate works will not be accepted. SPAC reserves full discretion on placement of all sculptures.
Accepted artists will receive a $1,000 honorarium per piece. All sculptures will be available for purchase, with SPAC receiving a 25% commission on any sales. Eligibility is open to all artists residing in the US. For more information, visit www.sheridanpublicarts.com or contact [email protected].
