About This Call
The 2025 Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale takes place August 9-10, 2025 (with artist setup on August 7 and a patron party on August 8) at Loveland's Benson Sculpture Garden. Now in its 41st year, this juried exhibition is recognized as one of the finest outdoor exhibitions of contemporary three-dimensional artwork in the United States, hosting 160 sculptors from around the world. The show attracts 15,000 to 20,000 art lovers and collectors annually, with 83% of exhibiting artists selling work at the 2024 show. Total sales exceeded $1,300,000 in 2024.
The show is open to sculptors working in permanent mediums. Applicants must submit four quality digital images of four different pieces of sculpture created within the last three years. Each piece must be finished and representative of the artist's work. A $50 non-refundable application fee applies. Submission constitutes agreement to the conditions specified in the prospectus, and the Loveland High Plains Art Council reserves the right for final curatorial decisions on displayed work.
Proceeds from the show fund the purchase of additional sculptures for permanent placement in Benson Sculpture Garden and support park improvements and landscaping. To date, 187 pieces of sculpture valued at over five and a half million dollars are installed in the 10-acre garden. Sculptors whose work is purchased for the garden's permanent collection receive an invitation to exhibit in the Sculpture in the Park the year their piece is installed.
