2025 SculpTOUR

SculpTOUR is an annual juried sculpture competition held through a partnership between the Anderson Arts Center and the City of Anderson. The competition is open to all sculptors working in North America.

Up to four outdoor sculptures will be selected for a year-long outdoor exhibition, with each selected piece receiving a $1,500 cash award. Selected works will be displayed during the City of Anderson's Soirée arts festival (April 25-26, 2025), which attracts over 50,000 locals and visitors. Installation must occur between March 17-27, 2025, and artists or their representatives must attend installation. Notification of acceptance will be provided by March 7, 2025.

Submissions require a $40 non-refundable application fee per sculpture, with a maximum of four entries allowed per artist. Work must be suitable for outdoor installation and must be structurally secured to a concrete pad, capable of withstanding adverse weather and high-traffic public park environments, maintenance-free during the exhibition period, and safe for public interaction. All entries must be completed prior to submission; incomplete works, project proposals, and works previously displayed with the Anderson Arts Center will not be considered. Artists may sell work during the exhibition period, but pieces must remain on site for the duration. The Anderson Arts Center will provide insurance throughout the exhibition period. Installation must be completed by March 27, 2025, or the sculpture will be disqualified.
