2025 Radford Art Show: Southwest Virginia Regional Juried Exhibition

The Radford University Art Museum invites artists to submit work for the 2025 Radford Art Show, a regional juried exhibition open to artists ages 18 and older living in Western and West Central Virginia. The exhibition will be held at the museum's Tyler Gallery (214 Tyler Avenue, Radford, VA 24141) from July 23 to August 9, 2025, and coincides with the City of Radford's Mary Draper Ingles Festival. This year's exhibition is juried by artist Gina Louthian Stanley.

Artists may submit up to three original artworks created within the last 18 months. The entry fee is $30. Work samples must be submitted as high-quality images (1-3 images required). The exhibition features cash prizes and awards in 2D and 3D artwork categories, including a $500 prize for Best in Show. An opening reception will be held Friday, July 25 from 5-7 p.m.

Eligibility is limited to artists living in the specified Western and West Central Virginia counties, including Radford, Roanoke, and surrounding areas. All mediums are welcome. 2D works must be framed or gallery-ready with properly secured wire; works that hang are limited to 84 inches in height, 48 inches in width, and 45 lbs in weight. 3D pieces cannot exceed 75 lbs. Accepted works must remain on display for the entire exhibition duration. Drop-off is July 17-19 (12-4 p.m.) and pickup is August 14-16 (12-4 p.m.), in person only—no shipping. The entry deadline is May 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of accepted entries will be sent June 27, 2025.
