2025 PAPNM 17th National Juried Members Exhibition

Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM) will host its 17th National Juried Members Exhibition at Legends of the West Gallery in Santa Fe. Members are encouraged to submit their best plein air work. The exhibition runs from July 12, 2024 through August 8, 2025.

Eligible artists must be PAPNM members in good standing (Artist Members, Student Artist Members, or Signature Artist Members) working in two-dimensional mediums including oil (traditional and water-mixable), wet media (acrylic, watercolor, gouache), dry media (pastel), and encaustics. All work must be at least 80% completed en plein air and painted after January 2023. Works must be original concepts painted solely by the entering artist and cannot be copied from other artists' work or published photos. Works previously shown in PAPNM juried member exhibitions or created in instructional settings are not eligible. Works from PAPNM online contests are eligible.

Artists may submit up to 4 painting images via CaFÉ at www.callforentry.org. The submission fee is $42 for the first image and $10 for each additional image. Up to 2 paintings may be selected for exhibition from each artist based on juror scoring. All accepted work must be available for sale and sturdily framed or gallery wrapped with D-rings and wire. Maximum framed size is 396 square inches (18" x 22", with maximum width of 22 inches). Minimum price per work is $400. Jury notifications will be emailed the week of April 23, 2025. Entry deadline is April 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
