2025 Members Show

This is a juried exhibition for members of FCPS featuring dry pastel artwork. Eligible works must be original dry pastels completed in the last two years that have not been shown in previous FCPS Juried Member Shows. Work done under supervision such as in a workshop or class is not eligible. Mixed media must be 80% dry pastel. Paintings must be framed, under glass or Plexiglas, and ready for hanging with picture wire (no saw tooth hangers). There is no minimum or maximum size requirement. Nudes may be submitted, though the gallery may reject any work deemed inappropriate.

Members may submit up to 3 entries. Entry fees are $25 for 1 work, $35 for 2 works, and $45 for 3 works. Entries must be submitted by April 28, 2025. Current membership is required with no outstanding fines or overdue items. Submitted entries are a commitment to show, and no paintings may be removed prior to the close of the exhibition.

For shipped artwork, use a sturdy packing case with Plexiglass recommended for protection. Include a pre-paid return shipping label and a $15 check payable to Carron Wedlund for handling. Shipped artwork must be received no later than May 29. Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork with no visible matting, frames, or background.
