About This Call
The Tubac Center of the Arts invites members to submit work for the 2025 Members' Juried Exhibition. This juried exhibition is open to all TCA members and accepts all media except video. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months and cannot have been previously displayed at TCA. All work must be original creations by the artist. To become a member, register at www.tubacarts.org or call 520-398-2371. Non-members will be disqualified with no refund issued.
Members may enter up to three 2D or 3D artworks. Entry fees are $35 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry. Work samples should include 1-3 images. The juror is Violet Rose-Arma, Curatorial Assistant and Administrative Support at the University of Arizona Museum of Art. The exhibition runs November 14 – December 27, 2025, with an opening reception and awards announcement on November 14. Awards include Best of Show ($300), Award of Excellence ($200), Virginia Hall Contemporary Award ($100), Ursula Suess Abstract Award ($100), Award of Merit ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($50 each). The Best of Show winner receives a solo exhibit in the Studio Gallery from December 28, 2025 – February 7, 2026.
Artwork must arrive ready for professional display. If framed, work must be suitably matted in white, black, or neutral colors, simply framed, and firmly wired with no sawtooth hangers. All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA and must provide a prepaid shipping label for return of unsold work. Art not picked up after 60 days becomes the property of TCA. Hand-delivered art is due November 10, 2025; shipped art is accepted November 3-9, 2025. Art must be picked up by December 29, 2025.
