2025 Members' Exhibition

The Philadelphia Pastel Society invites current members to submit artwork for the 2025 Members' Exhibition. Members may submit up to two paintings for $35, with one guaranteed to be exhibited online. All artwork must have been created in the past 3 years (2022-2025) and not previously exhibited in a past PPS exhibition. Works must be in dry pastel with at least 80% of the finished work in dry pastel, and must not have been created under teacher supervision (classroom, workshop, ZOOM, or DVD instruction).

Accepted artwork must not be exhibited concurrently in another show. Artwork priced for sale must include a 25% commission payable to PPS. Artists may choose to price work as "not for sale" (NFS). PPS will receive payment from buyers and remit payment to artists minus the 25% commission within 2 weeks of purchase. PPS will put the buyer in direct contact with the artist for delivery arrangements.

Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile for best results. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline of March 17, 2025. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline. Awards include Best in Show ($500), 2nd Place ($300), 3rd Place ($200), West Charlton Frames Award ($150), Honorable Mention ($100), Ampersand Award ($100), Blick Art Materials Award ($100), and Uart Award ($90).
