2025 Member Show

This is a members-only painting exhibition. Members with current membership as of January 31, 2025 will have at least one painting accepted provided the work meets all requirements. Entry fee is $40 for 1 to 3 artworks. Up to 3 artworks may be submitted.

Accepted media include oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, encaustic, egg tempera, batik, scratchboard, pen and ink, conte crayon, pencil, colored pencil, graphite, and charcoal. Collage may be allowed using only paper, with paper collage elements not exceeding 15% of the total painting. Work must be original in design, concept, and execution, performed without supervision or instruction, and completed within the last 6 years. No diptychs, triptychs, reproductions, prints, photography, videos, crafts, jewelry, three-dimensional works, textiles, fiber art, nudes, or computer-generated work. Paintings cannot exceed 35" in height and length including frame and must weigh no more than 20 pounds. All artwork must be dry and prepared with wire, screw eye, or D rings for hanging with no protruding objects. Work must be framed properly.

Awards include Best of Show ($200), 1st Place under glass ($100), 1st Place not under glass ($100), 2nd Place under glass ($75), 2nd Place not under glass ($75), 3rd Place under glass ($50), 3rd Place not under glass ($50), 2 Honorable Mentions under glass ($25), 2 Honorable Mentions not under glass ($25), 4 Merit Awards under glass, 4 Merit Awards not under glass, and a viewer's choice award. Entry is online only through ShowSubmit. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images must be cropped to show only the artwork with correct orientation.
