About This Call
The Main Street Gallery invites regional artists to enter the 2025 Fine Art Show and Sale. The exhibition takes place at 36 S. Main Street in historic Downtown Brighton, Colorado, across from Founders Plaza. The show runs from October 10-29, 2025, with a reception and awards presentation on Friday, October 10th from 6-8:00 pm. The juror is Colorado Contemporary Artist of Realism Jeremiah White, a finalist in The Artist's Magazine and featured in Southwest Art Magazine.
Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older. Artwork must be original in both concept and execution and appropriate for all audiences (no nudity). Accepted media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel/drawing, and scratchboard. Photography, digital, AI artwork, copies, kits, work done under instructor supervision, crafts, jewelry, and fiber are not acceptable. All artwork must be framed or gallery wrapped canvas with 1.5" minimum thickness, ready to hang with wire and hardware, and cannot exceed 36" width including frame or weigh over 50 lbs.
Submission Requirements: Entry fee is $35.00 for the first 2 images; additional images are $10.00 each. Submit 2-3 images online through CallForEntry.org by August 13, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted artists will be notified by email by September 10, 2025. Hand delivery of artwork is required October 1-4, 2025 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. All exhibited artwork must be for sale. Main Street Gallery retains a 30% commission on sales. Cash awards totaling $2,500 will be awarded. Artists receive payment via check within 14 days after the show closes on October 29th. Artwork pickup is October 30-November 1 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
