2025 Left Coast Annual Juried Exhibition

Sanchez Art Center invites artists to submit work for the 2025 Left Coast Annual Juried Exhibition, running April 11 - May 11, 2025, with an opening reception on Friday, April 11, 7-9 pm.

Open to all California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii artists age 18 and older. All fine arts visual media will be considered. Artists may submit up to 20 entries, including images and up to 6 videos. The non-refundable entry fee is $15 per image or video submitted. Artwork shown in prior juried exhibitions at Sanchez Art Center is not eligible. Work must be able to fit through a standard-sized door (80" x 35") and weigh less than 50 lbs. Framed 2D work must be wired (no sawtooth hangers). Alternative display methods may be used with Sanchez Art Center approval, with the artist supplying any special hardware.

Accepted artists will be notified by February 17, 2025. Hand-delivered work will be received March 30-31, 2025. Shipped work must arrive by March 28, 2025; artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a prepaid return shipping label. The exhibition will be presented both in-person and virtually. Gallery hours are Friday-Sunday, 1-5 pm, or by appointment. Artists are encouraged to gallery sit for one day during the show. Sales are encouraged with Sanchez Art Center retaining a 30% commission. Work pickup is May 11, 5-6:30 pm or May 12, 11 am-1 pm. The juror is Carin Adams, Senior Curator of Art at the Oakland Museum of California. Awards include 2 Exhibition Awards ($250 plus an exhibition in 2026) and 2 Merit Awards ($250).
