About This Call
The International Exhibition on Animals in Art celebrates animals in artwork. The exhibition ran for 28 years before being put on hiatus due to building renovations and the pandemic, and was brought back in 2022. Pieces must depict an animal (fish and insects are considered animals for the purposes of this exhibition). Any work determined not to meet the spirit of the exhibit will not be accepted.
Open to all artists 18 years of age or older. All media accepted with the exception of video, installation, and audio works. Works must be original and priced and available for sale. Maximum size of entry is 60"x60"x48". Each applicant may submit a maximum of three works. Any accepted artwork that differs from the digital image submitted will be disqualified.
Entry fee is $25.00 with an additional media fee of $20.00. Submissions require 1-3 images. Jury dates are July 28 - August 18, 2025. Exhibition dates are October 4-31, 2025.
