2025 Fall Online Open Show

This exhibition is open to APAA members and non-members. Membership costs $40 and can be obtained at apaa.wildapricot.org. Artists may submit 3 entries for $40.

All work must be original pastel paintings completed between 2023 and 2025 that have not been previously shown in an APAA exhibition. Work entered but not accepted in previous APAA shows may be resubmitted if it meets prospectus requirements. Paintings must be completed with 85% dry pastel as a final layer; underpainting is acceptable but oil pastels are not permitted. All artwork must be of original concept and design, created independently by the artist from their own original photograph or reference materials. No copies of photographs, paintings, or images from other sources are permitted. Work created under instruction, supervision, mentorship, in classes, workshops, or from published step-by-step instructions is not eligible. No portion of artwork or source material may be created or referenced using Artificial Intelligence. Artists must provide original source material upon request; work that cannot be verified will be removed from the show.

All paintings must be for sale with no NFS (Not For Sale) or POR (Price on Request) options. The sales commission is 80% to the artist and 20% to APAA. No price changes are accepted after entry submission. Accepted paintings must be identical to the submitted image with no substitutions, copies, adjustments, repairs, or modifications allowed. Entries must include high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background.
