About This Call
The Arts Center in Corvallis, OR annually accepts exhibition proposals from artists nationwide. TAC is currently accepting applications to exhibit in the Main and Corrine Woodman Galleries. It is free to apply. TAC encourages a diverse selection of artists to apply, including artists from historically underrepresented communities. The organization welcomes all artists regardless of citizenship status, color, familial status, gender identity or expression, religious observance, sex, sexual orientation, and sources or level of income.
Artists working in all mediums and genres are encouraged to apply. Artist collectives, organizations and groups are welcome to submit proposals on a single application. Artists are encouraged, but not required, to display works for sale. The Arts Center's commission rate is a 50/50 split with the artists. Arrangements for artists with exclusive gallery commitments are possible. Exhibitions are selected by the Curator and The Arts Center Exhibition Committee, a group of volunteers made up of professional artists and community members who review all materials and select artists who show excellence in medium and concept as well as help meet the mission of TAC.
The Main Gallery is 1100 sq. ft of oak floored space with 150 ft. of gallery walls. The Corrine Woodman Gallery is a semi-enclosed space with approximately 25 linear ft of wall space and 72 square ft. of floor space. When reviewing applications for the Corrine Woodman Gallery, the EC gives priority to Pacific Northwest artists. Artists must be 18 or older to apply. Applications must be completed online through CaFE. Artists are required to submit an artist statement, exhibition proposal and 10-20 samples of artwork (images, audio, and/or video). TAC is a contemporary art center and rarely exhibits retrospectives and work by deceased artists. For inquiries, contact [email protected].
