2025 Evendale Fine Art Exhibit

This exhibit is open to artists 18 and older living or working within a 50 mile radius of Evendale, OH (10500 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241). All fine art disciplines are encouraged for submission. Eligible media include paintings (oils, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels), sketches, etchings and sculpture. Photography, manipulated photography, digital media, painted giclee prints, and reproductions are not permitted. All artwork must be original and created from conception to completion by the artist. Work copied from other artists' work, published photos, or photos taken by someone other than the artist will not be accepted. As this is held in a family recreation center, artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness.

A maximum of five pieces of art can be submitted; up to three can be accepted. Digital images must be submitted via CallforEntry.org for jury consideration. Entry fees placed before the Early Bird deadline of March 1 are $25 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece. After March 1, fees are $40 for the first piece and $15 for each additional piece. Evendale residents who complete submission by the Early Bird deadline are free of charge. Accepted art must be hand-delivered to the Evendale Recreation Center during scheduled delivery times (April 29-30). The size and weight of work are limited to that which can be moved by one person. Any work that is hung must weigh less than 20 pounds and measure no larger than 36 X 36 without special approval. Artwork must be appropriately framed or 1 1/4 inch or wider museum wrapped canvas and wired for hanging. Watercolor and pastels must be framed with plexiglass; any works larger than 12 X 16 must be framed with plexiglass.

The exhibition runs May 2-5 at the Evendale Recreation Center. Awards include Best in Show ($500 and a one-person show at ECAC), 2nd Place ($350), 3rd Place ($200), and three Honorable Mention Awards ($75 each). The juror is Mary Ann Davis, an Indiana Plein Air painter. Artists are encouraged to offer work for sale; the ECAC takes a 10% processing fee for credit card sales.
