2025 DeLand Sculpture Walk

The Museum of Art - DeLand, with support from the City of DeLand, invites sculptors to participate in the 2025/2027 DeLand Sculpture Walk Exhibition. Selected works will be installed throughout downtown DeLand from March 10, 2025 through March 1, 2027. Each finalist whose work is installed will receive a $2,500 honorarium to offset transportation and incidental expenses. In-person delivery is required with installation assistance provided.

Applications must include an Artist's Statement of Technique, demonstration of outdoor sculpture experience with proposed anchoring system, and three views of each existing work. All submissions must list dimensions (including footprint), materials description, and anchoring system details. The application deadline is December 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Artists unable to meet scheduled installation requirements are not eligible. All work must be delivered by the artist or the artist's agent. Selected sculptures must be loaned for the full duration of the exhibition and may not be removed until the conclusion on March 1, 2027. Applications will be reviewed and juried by the DeLand Sculpture Walk Selection Committee, and all decisions are final.
