2025 Cultural Council for Palm Beach County Biennial

The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County invites visual artists residing in Palm Beach County to submit work for its 2025 Biennial. The exhibition opens April 11, 2025 and runs through June 21, 2025. The biennial is juried by Tim Hawkinson, a gallerist and curator from Los Angeles.

Eligible artists must live and work in Palm Beach County. Individual artists or artist collaborators (maximum 2) may submit one entry with up to three artworks total. Artwork must have been created within the previous five years and cannot have been previously displayed in a Cultural Council for Palm Beach County gallery. There is no entry fee. Submit up to six images (maximum two per artwork) in jpg or pdf format, no larger than 5 MB per file. Audio and video files are also accepted (refer to CaFE limitations). Include all artwork information: Title, Date, Dimensions, Medium, Edition, and Insurance Value.

The guest juror will select three prize winners: First Prize $2,000, Second Prize $1,000, and Third Prize $500. Visitors to the exhibition will vote for a People's Choice award worth $500. Notification of selected artists will be sent by February 28, 2025. Selected participants are responsible for delivery and pickup of artwork. All artwork will be insured on premises if a list of titles, descriptions, and values is provided prior to delivery. Artwork is not insured during transit. Installation is April 7, 2025; deinstallation is June 23, 2025. Selected participants must sign a loan agreement and submit a W-9 for payment purposes.
