2025 Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale

The 2025 Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale is a nationally-recognized contemporary Western art exhibition curated by Denver-based curator Kate Hlavin. The exhibit will feature up to 80 artists selected for the quality of their body of work. Artists are interested in fine art in any media (2-D or 3-D) that reflects the West as it is today or investigates a contemporary idea or depiction of the West, with the "West" as concept or location.

Submit 6 to 10 images of original work including paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs, or other fine art. No offset prints or giclee reproductions of original work will be accepted; fine art photography printed digitally on archival paper will be considered. You must include titles, prices, medium, and sizes for each artwork. Work should be current (created in the last year or so) and not have been shown in a retail setting or offered for sale in a gallery in Colorado (exceptions for sculpture). Accepted artists will exhibit up to six works total: three main or major works and three small works (roughly 144 square inches or smaller for 2-D and 12 x 12 x 12 inches for 3-D). Small works will be designated as part of a silent auction during opening events. All artwork must be available for purchase for the entire duration of the show with no pre-sales allowed. All works must be ready to show—framed, wired for hanging, and sculpture with bases.

Artists receive a 70% commission on sales. The artist is responsible for shipment to and from the show; insurance is provided while artwork is on site. Unsold artwork will be returned in the same shipping container as received. The exhibition runs January 11-26, 2025, during the National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO.
