2025 Contemporary Art Survey

The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, CO invites visual artists residing in the US to enter the 2025 Contemporary Art Survey, a national juried exhibition with Guest Juror Steven J. Yazzie. The exhibition is an open call to artists working in all media. We are seeking works in all media and genres that together will present a survey of contemporary art in America. Representational, abstract and conceptual work will be considered. Artists may submit small installations (up to 12'h x 6'w x 6'd) and new media; artists may be asked to provide equipment for media presentations.

Entry fee is $35.00 for up to three different artworks per artist in any combination of media. Artists must be 18 years or older with primary residence in the United States. Entries must be of the artist's original design and not a result of a class assignment, completed in the past two years since February 2023. Work sample requirements: 1-3 images and/or 0-3 videos (minimum 1 total sample, maximum 3 total samples). Entry deadline: February 18, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

$1,750 in cash prizes will be awarded: Grand Prize $1,000, Second Place $500, Third Place $250. Artist notification will occur the week of March 3, 2025. Exhibition dates are April 18-June 13, 2025. Artwork delivery: shipped artworks must arrive April 7-11, or hand deliveries can be made Tuesday, April 15, 12-2 pm. Reception and Awards Presentation: Saturday, April 26, 4-6 pm. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping. The Lincoln Center will insure artworks for their insurance value or retail value while on the premises. The Lincoln Center retains a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition.
