2025 Berkeley Art Center Juried Members Exhibition

The Berkeley Art Center invites artist members living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area to submit work for the 2025 Members Exhibition, running June 14 - August 30, 2025. This open call considers all artwork mediums and themes. The exhibition will be juried by Anthony Graham, Senior Curator at The Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. Submission is free for current members; new and renewing members can join at a sliding scale of $15–$55. Up to three Curator Spotlight awards will be chosen to receive special consideration, and an Audience Award will be announced at the exhibition closing.

Artists may submit up to 5 artworks in any medium, including 2D, 3D, video, and sound. A short artist or project statement (500 words maximum) is required. 2D works must not exceed 30 x 30 inches including frames; freestanding 3D sculpture must not exceed 48 x 24 inches in any dimension. Works must be ready-to-hang with all necessary equipment provided for sound and video works. Artwork must be clearly labeled with the artist's name and information on the back.

Eligibility is limited to artists residing in the Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma. Artists must be current members of the Berkeley Art Center. Submission deadline is April 15, 2025 by 10:59 PM PT. Accepted artists will be notified May 9, 2025. Artwork delivery is June 1 or June 4, 2025, with an artist's reception on June 14 from 3-5 PM. Artwork pickup is August 30, 2025 from 4-5 PM.
