2025 Art Auction Fundraiser

Northwind Art is hosting an Art Auction at its annual fundraising gala on June 28. The gala is the organization's largest fundraising event of the year, with proceeds supporting Northwind Art School, Jeanette Best Gallery, and the Art Around Town program. A total of 50 pieces of artwork will be selected through jury process. Selected artists may choose to donate 100% of the auction proceeds to Northwind Art or receive 50% of the selling price.

Northwind Art Executive Director Martha Worthley will serve as juror, evaluating submissions based on craftsmanship, composition, scale, color choices, texture, and content variety. Emphasis will be placed on artwork with the best chance of selling at auction. Any two- or three-dimensional art is considered, including jewelry, provided it meets size specifications (maximum 60" height and 48" width for two-dimensional work, including frame). No reserve prices will be set on selected artworks.

Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT via CaFE. Submit a JPEG or JPG image under 5MB with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side, including artwork title, dimensions, medium, and year completed. Up to five pieces may be submitted. There is no application fee. Selected artists will be notified on May 9, 2025. Artwork must be professionally presented (framed, matted, wired, etc.) and delivered to Northwind Art between June 2-8, 2025 during a scheduled time. The auction preview runs June 10-11, with the live auction on June 28 at White Lotus Farm in Port Ludlow. Unsold artwork will be returned to artists within 30 days following the auction.
