2025 Advent Art Competition

St. John's Church invites artists to submit work for the 2025 Advent Art Competition. Artists must reside within South Carolina and be 18 years old at the time of submission. Artists may submit up to 2 works created within the past 3 years. Work must be two-dimensional and no larger than 48" x 72". Two-dimensional works should be framed with horizontal wiring or D-rings.

Prizes include: First Place $800, Second Place $600, Third Place $400, Fourth Place $200, and Honorable Mention awards. Work must be the sole work of a living artist. St. John's Church and the Juror retain sole discretion to decide whether artworks meet the show standards.

Submissions must be original, high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background distractions, and oriented correctly for viewing. Entry deadline is October 1, 2025.
