About This Call
Maude Kerns Art Center is accepting submissions for its 2025 & 2026 Exhibits Season. Local, regional, and national artists (individuals and groups) working in 2- and 3-dimensional mediums, as well as installation art, are invited to submit their work for consideration. Solo, group, and/or themed shows will be curated based on the content, quality, and number of submissions. Established, mid-career, and emerging artists are encouraged to apply.
Submissions must include a minimum of 10 images and a maximum of 20 images total. One audio or video file (not exceeding 3 minutes or 100 MB) may be submitted in place of an image. The entry fee is $35 for individual or group submissions. Groups can consist of two or more artists. For group submissions, each artist must provide an individual resume and artist statement, and one artist must be designated as the coordinator. A statement describing the overall theme or concept of the exhibit should also be submitted. Jurors will be accomplished artists and art professionals who will select artists based on quality and technical excellence.
Artists are responsible for shipping fees and insurance. All work must be suitably framed, presented, and ready to hang or install. The Art Center reserves the right to reject work upon receipt if it does not meet the quality indicated in submitted images. No work may be removed during the exhibit period. Artwork is covered under the Art Center's insurance upon safe arrival. Sales are encouraged; the Art Center retains a 40% commission on all art and merchandise sold in connection with the exhibit, with artists retaining 60% of sales prices.
