About This Call
The 2024 UMD Art & Design Annual Student Exhibition is open to any current UMD student who has had an art or design class in calendar year 2023 or 2024. You need not be an Art & Design major to enter. Students may submit up to three individual works. Collaborations are welcome; please provide credit information for collaborative pieces.
Submissions are accepted online through callforentry.org. Only accepted works will be displayed in person at the Tweed Museum of Art. Faculty approval is not required before submission, though students may seek faculty guidance on work selection, presentation, and framing. The exhibition will be juried by Alex Girard and Aaron Delehanty.
Work samples may include images, audio, or video files (up to 3 of each format, with a minimum of 1 total sample required). All accepted works are eligible for awards and purchase awards. The exhibition runs from January 30 to May 5, 2024.
