2024 - The Second Half (50 and Over Show)

Las Laguna Art Gallery presents The 2nd Half (50 and Over Show), an exhibition celebrating artists 50 and older. All artists in this age group are encouraged to apply. The exhibition recognizes the maturity, insight, and invaluable viewpoints that come with age and life experience. Many participating artists have spent decades honing their skills, while others are new to art but bring diverse experiences that inform their creative work.

Accepted media includes Acrylic, Airbrush, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Art, Graphite, Glass Art, Illustration, Jewelry, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Photography (Traditional and Digital), Printmaking, Sculpture, Video, and Watercolor. Submissions should include 1-15 images.

All artists who submit will be accepted and have at least one work posted and promoted on the gallery's website and client list. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at the brick-and-mortar location in Laguna Beach, California. Entry fee is $31.00 with an additional $2.00 per image. Notification of acceptance: June 2, 2024. Exhibition dates: June 6-28, 2024. Commission split: 65% Artist, 35% Gallery. Open to local, national, and international artists.
