About This Call

The MCC Art Gallery is a transformative space embracing the dynamic and multidisciplinary nature of today's visual culture. Highlighting student, faculty and guest artists works, the gallery provides students, educators and community members a vibrant space for interaction, reflection, experimentation and dialogue.

Participation in the Student Art Show juried exhibition at MCC Gallery is an important tradition culminating the academic year. Students gain experience in photographing their work, responding to a call for entry, and showing their work to a wide audience while having the opportunity to win cash awards to further support their academic and career pursuits in the arts.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Mesa Community College course with prefix ART or AVC in any semester from Spring 2023 to Spring 2024. Up to three works/images may be submitted in any 2D, 3D or digital fine art or commercial medium, including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, sculpture, fibers, wood, metal, glass, film/video, animation, graphic design or other creative medium. Applicants must provide their MCCCD issued 10-digit MEID. Artworks accepted into the 2023 Student Art Show are no longer eligible.
