About This Call
Join the 40th Sculpture in the Park Show and Sale, held August 9-11, 2024 at Loveland's Benson Sculpture Garden. The exhibition features 160 sculptors from around the world and is recognized as one of the finest outdoor juried exhibitions of three-dimensional artwork in the United States. The show attracts 15,000 to 20,000 art lovers and collectors annually, with 2023 sales exceeding $1,600,000. An astounding 97% of exhibiting artists sold their work at the 39th show.
The show is open to sculptors working in permanent mediums. Applicants must submit four quality digital images of four different pieces of sculpture created within the last three years. Each piece must be finished and representative of the artist's work. The $50 non-refundable application fee must be paid online. Acceptance notifications will be sent the week of March 11, 2024. Artist set-up is August 8, with a patron party on August 9, and the public show running August 10-11.
Proceeds from the show support the purchase of sculptures for permanent placement in Benson Sculpture Garden and fund park improvements. To date, 183 pieces valued at over five million dollars grace the park's grounds. Sculptors whose work is purchased for the garden's collection receive an invitation to exhibit in the following year's Sculpture in the Park show.
