2024 Remarque Print Exchange

Remarque Print Workshop announces the Fourth Annual non-juried Remarque Print Exchange. This print exchange provides an opportunity for printmakers to interact with artists around the world, gain exposure for their work, and explore the techniques and creativity of different artists. The exchange is open to all U.S. printmakers and is limited to 200 participants in order of registration.

Participating artists must produce an edition of 11 original hand-pulled prints to be distributed to all participants. Each artist will receive prints from ten other artists in return. One print from every edition is retained by Remarque Print Workshop to be exhibited and potentially sold to benefit their educational scholarship fund. Prints will also be included in an online gallery. The Print Exchange accepts all types of hand-pulled prints including relief, intaglio, monotype, silkscreen, lithography, photogravure, and combinations of printmaking techniques. Digital prints and photography are not accepted, though hand-pulled prints using photographic elements are acceptable.

Prints should be editioned and numbered from 1/11 to 11/11, with paper size of 8" x 10" (image can be smaller). Artists may retain artist proofs marked A/P only. The entry fee is $35 for U.S. participants, which includes return shipping of the ten prints received. A limited number of vouchers are available for artists unable to afford the fee. Registration deadline is December 17, 2023, with prints due by January 22, 2024. The Print Exchange Opening Reception is scheduled for February 2 at Remarque Print Workshop, with an online gallery available for viewing.
