About This Call
The Parade of Hearts 2024 showcases beautifully designed hearts created by emerging and established artists across the Kansas City region. The initiative strengthens the community by providing grants to organizations supporting Health & Wellness (University of Kansas Health System and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals), Education (The Family Conservancy), and Arts & Culture (Local and Regional Artist community).
Parade of Hearts is open to all artists, professional and amateur, located in the KC Metro Area. Artists must submit 2 images of their heart design. Selected artists will be notified on October 19, 2023, and can pick up their blank heart beginning in November 2023. Finished hearts must be delivered between February 1 and March 1, 2024. Installation of hearts in public spaces begins April 15, 2024, with the public art experience ending in August 2024.
