2024 Members' Exhibition

The Philadelphia Pastel Society invites current members to submit artwork for the 2024 Members' Exhibition. Entry fee is $30 for up to 2 artworks. Artwork must have been completed within the past 3 years (2020 or later) and cannot have been previously exhibited in a juried PPS show. Only one painting per artist may be selected for the exhibition.

Artwork Requirements: All works must be in dry soft pastel with at least 80% of the finished work in dry pastel. Oil pastels and varnished dry pastels are not accepted. Artwork must not have been created with instructor direction. All work must be framed, wired, and ready to hang (no saw tooth hangers or clip frames). Maximum framed size is 36" on the longest side. Accepted artwork cannot be exhibited concurrently with an online exhibit and must remain on display until the close of the exhibition.

Sales and Submission: All work must be for sale with a 25% commission payable to PPS. Once accepted, artwork prices cannot be changed. Sales will be handled by PPS, with payment collected by Jack Lloyd, Exhibition Chair. Purchased artwork can be picked up at Henry Gallery at the close of the show. Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork with correct orientation.
