2024 Master Signature & Heritage Member Exhibition

The 2024 AWA Master Signature & Heritage Member Show is open to AWA Master Signature & Heritage Members in good standing. Entries may be representational or abstract work(s) in drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, or sculpture. 2D works must have been completed in the past 3 years and have not been in a prior AWA show. 3D works must have been completed in the last 6 years and have not been in a prior AWA show. Maximum size for paintings and drawings is 48" on the longest side unframed. Maximum size for sculpture is 8 ft height including base or pedestal, with a weight limit of 200 lbs. Works must be available for sale, with artists receiving 65% of the sale price.

Acceptable mediums for painting include oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, egg tempera, encaustic, and mixed mediums. Drawing mediums include conte crayon, colored pencil, graphite, pen & ink, scratchboard, and original hand-pulled prints. Sculpture mediums include cast metal, fabricated metal, stone, glass, wood, and fired permanent mediums such as terra cotta, stoneware, porcelain, and earthenware. Not acceptable are craft, jewelry, fiber, fabric, photography, video, digital prints including giclee, or any work containing computer-generated elements. Maximum three entries per artist, with a maximum of two pieces per artist selected for the show.

Entries may be submitted from December 15, 2023 – January 19, 2024. Final pieces will be announced by January 31, 2024. Shipped works must arrive at Tubac Center of the Arts February 21-26, 2024. Hand-delivered works must arrive on February 26, 2024 only. Awards include Best of Show ($1,000), Award of Excellence ($750), Award of Merit ($500), and two Honorable Mention Awards ($250 each), plus ad, event, and subscription awards from Fine Art Connoisseur.
