2024 Louisville Art Association National Fine Art Show and Sale

The 2024 National Fine Arts Show and Sale takes place in Louisville, Colorado at the Louisville Center for the Arts, a late 19th century red brick schoolhouse. The show runs from August 30 through September 8, 2024, in conjunction with the Louisville Labor Day weekend event. Historic Downtown Louisville features art galleries, shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Artists of all mediums and genres are encouraged to apply, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, sculpture, ceramic, fiber, mixed media, digital painting, drawing, and printmaking. Work must be original, created within the last three years, and not previously shown in a LAA National Fine Art Show. Excluded media include installation art, videos, photography, manipulated photography, and AI-generated work. 2D pieces may not exceed 48 inches on any side including frame and cannot weigh over 50 lbs. 3D sculptures cannot exceed 36 inches in any dimension and cannot weigh over 70 lbs. All artwork must be for sale and appropriate for general audiences with no nudity.

Entry fee is $45 for three entries, with each additional entry at $10 up to six total pieces. Submit 3-6 images through CaFE. Accepted entries will be notified by July 31. Shipped artwork should arrive August 19-23, with in-person deliveries accepted August 27 from 1-5pm. The Awards Reception and Ceremony take place August 30 at 6-8pm. Awards include Best of Show ($600), 2nd Place ($400), 3rd Place ($250), 10 Artistic Achievement Awards ($100 each), Judge's Choice ($200), and People's Choice ($200). The juror is Colorado artist Chuck Ceraso. The Louisville Art Association retains a 25% commission on all sales, with payment via check within 14 days after the show closes.
