2024 Louisville Art Association National Fine Art Show

The 2024 National Fine Arts Show and Sale takes place in Louisville, Colorado at the Louisville Center for the Arts, a late 19th century red brick schoolhouse. The show runs from August 30 through September 8, 2024, in conjunction with the Louisville Labor Day weekend event. Historic Downtown Louisville features art galleries, shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Artists of all mediums and genres are welcome to apply, except installation art, videos, and photography. Work must be original, created within the last two years, and not previously shown in a LAA National Fine Art Show. 2D pieces may not exceed 48 inches on any side including frame and cannot weigh over 50 lbs. 3D sculptures cannot exceed 36 inches in any dimension and cannot weigh over 70 lbs. Artwork must be appropriate for general audiences with no nudity. Eligible categories include: Oil/Cold Wax, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastels, Sculpture, Fiber, Mixed Media, Digital Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking.

Entry fee is $45 for three entries, with each additional entry at $10 up to six total pieces. All artwork must be for sale. The juror is Colorado artist Chuck Ceraso. Awards include Best of Show ($600), 2nd Place ($400), 3rd Place ($250), Judge's Choice ($200), People's Choice ($200), and ten Artistic Achievement Awards ($100 each). The Louisville Art Association retains a 25% commission on all sales. Shipped artwork must arrive August 19-23. Hand deliveries accepted August 27, 1pm-5pm. Awards Reception is August 30, 6pm-8pm with Awards Ceremony at 7pm. Pickup of hand-delivered artwork is September 8, 5pm-7pm. Unsold artwork will be shipped back September 10 using artist's prepaid return label.
