2024 Left Coast Annual Juried Exhibition

The Sanchez Art Center invites artists to submit work for the 2024 Left Coast Annual Juried Exhibition, running April 12 - May 12, 2024, with an opening reception on Friday, April 12, 7-9 pm.

Open to artists age 18 and older from California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. All fine arts visual media will be considered. Artists may submit up to 20 entries (images and/or videos). The entry fee is $15 per image or video submitted. Work must fit through a standard-sized door (80" x 35") and weigh less than 50 lbs. Framed 2D work must be wired (no sawtooth hangers). Artwork previously shown in prior juried exhibitions at Sanchez Art Center is not eligible.

The juror is Janna Keegan, associate curator for contemporary art and programming at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Awards include 2 Exhibition Awards ($250 plus an exhibition in 2024) and 2 Merit Awards ($250). Selected works will be presented in the gallery (open Friday-Sunday, 1-5 pm, or by appointment) and in the online galleries at SanchezArtCenterVirtualGalleries.org. Artists are encouraged to gallery sit during the show. Sales are encouraged with Sanchez Art Center retaining a 30% commission. Accepted artists will be notified by February 19. Hand-delivery of work is March 28-29; shipped work must arrive by March 29 at 5 pm. Work pickup is May 12, 5-6:30 pm or May 13, 10 am-5 pm. Entry deadline is Tuesday, January 30, 2024, 11 pm PST.
