2024 International Juried Exhibition

The Center for Contemporary Art presents the 2024 International Juried Exhibition, open to artists age 18 and older. The exhibition will run from January 19 – March 17, 2024, and will consist of two- and three-dimensional work in all media. Wall pieces must be wired for hanging and no larger than 36" X 36". Free-standing pieces may not exceed 32" X 32" X 48" or weigh more than 75 lbs. Work across a variety of media and display solutions is encouraged. Accepted work cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibit.

The submission deadline is Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MT. Entry fees are $40 for up to three entries, or $30 for Members of The Center for Contemporary Art and Art Educators (non-refundable). Submit up to three JPG digital images (1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, 5 MB maximum) or up to three videos (MOV, MP4, WMV, 3GP, AVI, ASF, MPG, M2T, MKV, M2TS format, under 100 MB). Applications must include an artist statement and CV/BIO. Artist notification will be sent by email on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Juror Hunter O'Hanian will select the exhibition. Awards include a Special Exhibitions Committee Award (up to three artists will be selected for a solo exhibition at The Center in 2025), First Prize ($500), Second Prize ($250), and Third Prize ($100). In-person delivery and receipt of shipped work is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3 – Thursday, January 11, 2024. The exhibition opening reception is Friday, January 19, 2024. Pre-paid artwork return and in-person pick-up will be available March 18 - March 24, 2024 during office hours. All artwork is insured for its declared value from receipt through March 24, 2024. The Center for Contemporary Art receives a 40% commission on all exhibition sales. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include return postage with their artwork.
