2024 Greenwood Village Commemorative Poster

The City of Greenwood Village is seeking original artwork for its first annual commemorative poster. The poster will convey the beauty and vitality of Greenwood Village and the surrounding community. The chosen artist will receive a $1,000 award and the opportunity to show their work at the 5th Annual Art on the Green art fair. Sales of the poster will raise funds to enhance future cultural activities in the city.

Artwork must be of original design and personal execution in any form of media, including photography, sculpture, prints, fiber, and painting. Printed works for which the artist's hand manipulated the plates, stones, or screens and which have been properly signed and numbered as a limited edition will be accepted. Artwork submitted must be available to be made into a poster reproduction and should reflect the natural beauty and spirit of Greenwood Village and surrounding areas. Artwork does not have to be for sale but must be available to display at the unveiling party in August. Artists may submit up to 3 individual pieces of work with up to 3 images total. A written statement about the piece(s) being submitted is required.

Eligibility: Open to artists who reside in Colorado and are 18 years or older. Entry fee is $20.00. Artwork may not include any breach of intellectual property, trademarks, brands, or images of illegal activity. The artist grants the City of Greenwood Village exclusive use of the image for all purposes, including posters, advertising, and notecards. The artist will be featured on the City of Greenwood Village and Art on the Green websites with the poster image, bio, and links to artist websites.
