2024 Fall Open Juried Exhibition

This exhibition is open to all artists, including Portrait Society of Atlanta (PSA) members and non-members. Entries must be original, 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional fine art portraiture. Entrants may submit up to three entries. Portraits must contain a human person with at least an ear, eye, or nose visible. Pets are acceptable only when accompanying a human. No digital reproductions, copies, student/class work, photography, or paintings-over-photographs are permitted.

Artwork must not have been exhibited in a PSA exhibition in the last 2 years, never won first place in any previous PSA exhibition, or been displayed in more than 2 prior PSA exhibitions. Size limitations including frames: minimum 10 inches, maximum 40 inches in either width or height. All paintings must be ready for hanging with wire in place, in an appropriate gallery frame or gallery-wrapped canvas. No sawtooth hangers are accepted. Accepted works must include identification on a 3" x 5" card on the back with title, artist's name, medium, size, email address, cell phone number, and price (or "NFS" if not for sale). All art must have a declared value.

Entry fees are $35 for PSA members (first piece) and $5 for each additional piece up to 3 pieces; $45 for non-members (first piece) and $5 for each additional piece up to 3 pieces. Entry fees are nonrefundable. Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork itself. Images must be oriented correctly. Works submitted must be displayed for the duration of the show with no substitutes or early removal.
