2024 Evendale Fine Art Exhibit

This exhibit is open to artists 18 and older living or working within a 50 mile radius of Evendale, OH (10500 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241). All fine art disciplines are encouraged for submission. Eligible media include paintings (oils, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels), sketches, etchings and sculpture. No photography, manipulated photography, digital media, painted giclee prints, or reproductions are permitted. All artwork must be original and created from conception to completion by the artist. Work copied from other artists' work, published photos, or photos taken by someone other than the artist will not be accepted. As this is held in a family recreation center, artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness.

A maximum of five pieces of art can be submitted; up to three can be accepted. Entry fees placed before the Early Bird deadline of March 10 are $20 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece. After March 10, fees are $35 for the first piece and $15 for each additional piece. Evendale residents who complete the submission process by the Early Bird deadline are free of charge. Digital images must be submitted via CallforEntry.org. Accepted artists will be notified by email on March 22. Accepted artwork must be hand-delivered to the Evendale Recreation Center on April 30 (4-6 pm), May 1 (10 am-1 pm), or by prior arrangement. The exhibition runs May 3-6 at the Evendale Recreation Center. Art pickup is May 6 (6-7:30 pm) or May 7 (9:30-11:30 am).

Awards include Best in Show ($500 and a one-person show at ECAC), 2nd Place ($350), 3rd Place ($200), and three Honorable Mention Awards ($75 each). Artwork must be appropriately framed or museum wrapped canvas and wired for hanging. Work that is hung must weigh less than 20 pounds and measure no larger than 36 x 36 inches without special approval. No sawtooth hangers are accepted. Watercolor and pastels must be framed with plexiglass; any works larger than 12 x 16 inches must be framed with plexiglass.
