2024 Emerging Vision: CPAC Biennial Student Show

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center invites current undergraduate and graduate students to submit work for the 2024 Emerging Vision: CPAC Biennial Student Show. Applicants must be enrolled at a post-secondary institution and not graduating before the end of the academic year 2024-2025. A copy of current student schedule or student ID must be submitted with the application.

All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and mobile photography. Submissions must include 3-10 images and up to 3 videos. Entry fee is $16 for 3 images (early bird discount $8 until September 3rd) plus $3 for each additional image. Exhibition prints must have height or width no larger than 65" and will be hung with magnets. Artists may choose to frame work or send prints only. Exhibition sizes cannot be changed after acceptance. Work must be received by November 22, 2024. CPAC will charge a 30% sales commission.

Applications close September 20, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notifications will be sent October 11, 2024. The exhibition runs December 3, 2024 - January 11, 2025, with an opening reception Friday, December 6, 2024, 6-9pm. Juror Nelson Chan will award Best in Show (30-minute online review and $150 in custom printing from Digital Silver Imaging) and one Honorable Mention ($150 in custom printing).
