2024 CVG Juried Show

Collective Visions Gallery announces the Seventeenth Annual CVG Show, a juried art competition for Photo/Digital, Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional art. All Washington State artists over the age of 18 are invited to submit work. There is no particular theme for this show; artists are encouraged to submit their best pieces in any category, medium, or genre. Over $10,000 in cash and awards will be awarded to winners in several categories.

Eligibility requirements: All artists must be Washington State residents and 18 years of age or older. Entries must be original and entirely the work of the entrant, completed without the supervision of an instructor. Work must have been completed on or after January 1, 2021. Artists may not submit work that has won a prize in any previous CVG Juried Show, and copies of existing artworks or works solely based on copyrighted artworks are not eligible. A maximum of two entries per artist is permitted, with an entry fee of $45.00 total. Entries are submitted online through CaFE only at www.callforentry.org. Each entry is allowed one image or video file. All entries will be juried from digital images, and all awards will be judged in person from the original works of art.

Awards include: Best of Show/Mayor's Award ($1,500), Best of Kitsap Award ($1,000), First Prize in each category ($1,000 each), Second Prize in each category ($750 each), Third Prize in each category ($500 each), People's Choice Award ($300), Emerging Artist Award ($300), and Honorable Mentions Awards (up to 10 awarded; $25 gift card to Artist's Edge). All work must be for sale. The artist retains 60% of the selling price; the gallery retains 40% commission. Artists whose work is accepted must RSVP no later than December 28, 2023. Work must be gallery-ready for display with appropriate framing and supports. Two-dimensional and Photo/Digital art may not exceed 8 feet in longest dimension or weigh more than 75 lbs, with a minimum size of 6 inches in any dimension.
