2024 CPA Members Juried Exhibition

The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2024 Members' Juried Exhibition, offering $2,400 in awards and prizes. The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide, over the age of 18, working in all still photographic media, provided they are a CPA member. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Non-members may join CPA at https://photography.org/shop/joincpa/.

Entry fees are $35 for 3 images, with $5 for each additional image (up to 20 total). Submissions are accepted January 4 through March 2, 2024, 11:59pm MST. Forty-five images selected by juror Catherine Couturier will be exhibited in the historic CPA gallery in Carmel, CA, and featured in an online gallery on the CPA website. Up to an additional forty-five images will be selected for the online gallery. All selected images will be published in the 2024 Members' Juried Exhibition catalog. Awards include: Best of Show ($1,000), 2nd place ($500), 3rd place ($250), 5 merit awards ($50 each), Jack Wasserbach Award for B&W Photography ($250), and People's Choice Award ($150).

All entrants will be notified of results via email after March 14, 2024. For invited gallery artists, artwork must arrive at CPA no later than Thursday, April 11, 2024. Gallery-exhibited work must be ready-to-hang (except sculptural pieces), framed with acrylic Plexiglas only (no glass), not exceed 30 inches on the long side, and weigh less than 10 pounds. Artwork should be shipped via FedEx or UPS only with prepaid return-shipping labels. The exhibition runs April 20-June 2, 2024, with a reception and awards presentation on April 20, 4:00-6:00pm. Images must be submitted at 1920 pixels (long dimension) @ 72 ppi, AdobeRGB(1998) profile, saved as 8-bit JPEG, not exceeding 5MB, with no visible names, titles, or watermarks. Each image must be titled; "Untitled" is not allowed.
