2024 CPA International Juried Exhibition

The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2024 International Juried Exhibition with over $5,000 in awards. Forty-five juror-selected photographs will be exhibited from November 23, 2024 through December 29, 2024 in the historic gallery in Carmel, California. These photographs will also be featured in an online gallery on the CPA website along with an additional forty-five juror-selected images. An exhibition catalog of the entire gallery and online exhibition will be available for purchase.

The juror is Elizabeth Avedon, an independent curator and photography book and exhibition designer. Award amounts include: First Place $2,500, Second Place $1,000, Third Place $500, four merit awards of $250 each, and a People's Choice Award of $150 plus CPA gear voted on by the public.

The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide over the age of 18 working in all still photographic media (no video). No images created with AI are eligible. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Photographs accepted for previous CPA IJE gallery exhibitions are not eligible. Entry fees are $65 for non-members (3 images) or $45 for CPA members during the early submission period (July 1 - August 16, 2024). Regular entry period fees are $75 for non-members or $55 for members (August 17 - September 17, 2024). Additional images may be submitted at $10 each for up to 20 total images. Submission deadline is September 17, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artists will be notified by October 10, 2024. Framed artwork must be delivered to CPA by November 15, 2024. All artwork for gallery display must be ready-to-hang, glazed with acrylic Plexiglas only (no glass), not exceed 30 inches on the long side, and weigh less than 10 pounds. Diptychs, triptychs, and multiple images must not exceed 30 inches combined on the long side.
