2024 Art Gym Denver Open Portfolio & Curatorial

Apply for exhibition in the Gallery at Art Gym Denver. Submissions are for the 2025 calendar year. Thought-provoking, innovative, or otherwise experimental exhibitions are at the heart of the gallery. The Art Gym Gallery seeks projects, portfolios, or curatorial proposals from regional artists to build an exhibits calendar that showcases the unique and diverse work produced in Denver and beyond. The gallery celebrates a history of exhibiting emerging and established artists in new or traditional media. Selected work may be for a solo exhibit or curated grouping. Exhibitions are presented monthly, with opening receptions on the third Thursday of every month.

All mediums are accepted. Applicants must submit no less than 5 images of work, an artist or project statement, and a CV or resumé. Regional artists aged 18 and older are eligible. Up to 2 applications are allowed per artist. The entry fee is $25.00. Work sample requirements: minimum 5 images, maximum 10 images; video submissions optional (0-2 videos); total samples minimum 5, maximum 10.

Art Gym is a shared workspace where artists can join for a monthly membership fee and reserve workspace and equipment. The facility supports a variety of disciplines including 2D Arts, Metalsmithing and Lapidary, Mixed Media, Performance Arts, and Printmaking. Art Gym offers programming to members and non-members throughout the year, including art critiques, artist talks, classes and workshops, figure drawing, gallery exhibits, and residencies.
