2024 Art for the View - An Exhibition Celebrating Artists with Disabilities

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital invites artists with disabilities to submit work for the 2024 Art for the View exhibition. The exhibit will be featured at a ticketed event in November 2024 and remain on display into December. All artwork on display is for sale. The online application is free and artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration.

Eligibility: Open to artists with physical, cognitive, visual, and hearing disabilities. Only work executed after the onset of disability or injury is eligible. Works must have been completed within the last seven years. All works must be for sale; reproduction prints will not be accepted. Eligible media includes all types. Two-dimensional work must be framed with Plexiglas (glass only for pastels); sculpture must not exceed 25 lbs.; framed work must not exceed 36" in height. All works must be framed, wired, and ready to hang.

Submissions must include one to two images of each piece, title, year completed, medium, dimensions, biography, and artist statement. Accepted and non-accepted artists will be notified by September 30th. In the event of a sale, artists earn 75% of sales. A Best in Show prize valued at $500 will be awarded.
