2024 Art at the Avenue National Juried Artist Call

The South Cobb Arts Alliance invites artists to submit work for the 2024 Art at the Avenue National Juried Exhibition. This juried exhibition is open to all residents of the USA 18 and older. The entry fee is $45, and artists may submit 1-4 images of original work. The entry deadline is June 14, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury selection will take place June 15-20, 2024, with email notifications sent on or about June 21, 2024.

The exhibition runs July 13 - August 4, 2024, with an exhibit reception on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Awards will be given at the juror's discretion: $500 for 1st Prize, $300 for 2nd Prize, and $150 for 3rd Prize. Artwork must be original, owned by the artist, and not produced in a class or by AI. All work must be for sale and priced to include a 25% commission to SCAA. Artwork must be delivered in person (no shipments accepted) and must be wired and ready to hang with appropriate hanging hardware. Work should not exceed 60 inches in either direction; freestanding 3D artwork must fit through a retail front door (40x60 inches). Artwork that was included in the 2023 exhibit is not eligible.

As a participant, artists have the opportunity to sell additional work at the Artisan Market during the exhibit. The event will also include a Middle-High School Juried Art Exhibit competition, music, performing arts, community events, art demonstrations, children's reading circle, and art activities. Artwork will remain in the gallery until the end of the exhibit unless sold. Each piece must be labeled with the artist's name, title, price, telephone, and email.
