2024 Annual Online Elected Members Show

This online exhibition is open to NJWS Elected Members with 2024 dues paid. Participants must be residents of New Jersey, 18 years or older. Each Elected Member may submit one painting.

Entries must be original works created entirely by the artist in water-based media including watercolor, acrylic, casein, and gouache on paper, Yupo, Aquabord, Claybord, or watercolor board. Collage elements must be made of paper, created by the artist, and constitute less than 10% of the painting. No copies, prints, classwork, workshop creations, computer art, oils, water-soluble oils, textural materials, canvas, or nude paintings will be accepted. Artwork previously shown in any NJWS exhibition or show will not be accepted.

All entries meeting the eligibility criteria will be included in the online virtual gallery and considered for awards. Awards include: Best in Show ($400), 3 Awards of Excellence ($200 each), 3 Awards for Merit ($100 each), and 3 Honorable Mentions ($50 each). Requests for sales will be forwarded to the artist, who is solely responsible for the sale and delivery. NJWS receives no commission on sales. Prices cannot be changed once submitted.

Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly. Entry fees must be submitted and paid by the deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
