About This Call
The 2023 TulsaCC Juried Student Art Exhibition invites Tulsa Community College students to submit artwork created in TCC Art courses during Spring 2022, Summer 2022, Fall 2022, and Spring 2023. Students may submit 1-5 artworks, including a mixture of 2D and 3D work. All applications are free to submit and will be juried remotely. Selected works will be exhibited on campus.
Award winners will be determined during the jurying process: Best in Show ($200), Juror's Choice ($100), and Juror's Choice ($100). The exhibition will be juried by Leticia R. Bajuyo, Assistant Professor of Sculpture at the University of Oklahoma, and Mike Barclay, an independent curator and collection manager based in Indianapolis. Jury dates are April 1-9, 2023.
Eligibility: All artwork must be original and created by the student in a TCC Art course. No reproductions or master copies will be accepted. Students do not need to be Art majors to apply. Applicants whose work is accepted will be notified via their TCC campus email with instructions for bringing artwork to campus for installation. Image submissions must be high-quality, in-focus, photographed on white background (unless site-specific), with even lighting and no filters.
