About This Call
TJAA is hosting the "Fall into Art" small works show for TJAA members only. This is a juried exhibition with prizes awarded: 1st prize $100, 2nd prize $75, and a "People's Choice Award". The exhibition features 2D artwork only.
Artwork must be submitted as up to 2 pieces with a maximum finished framed size or gallery-wrapped canvas of 12" x 16". All artwork must be wired with D-rings for hanging (no sawtooth hangers) and weigh no more than 20 lbs. This is a sales opportunity; all work must be for sale with sales conducted directly between artist and buyer. TJAA collects a 10% fee from all art sales. Works must be displayed for the entire show duration, even if sold during the exhibition.
The exhibition takes place at Dunn Brothers Coffee gallery, 3725 Beltline Road, Addison, Texas 75001. Load-in is Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The opening reception is Sunday, November 19, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Load-out is Monday, January 29, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Each artist is responsible for delivery and pickup of artwork. Failure to pick up art may result in being barred from future exhibitions and/or a $50 daily storage fee. Artwork not picked up after 30 days will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of by TJAA. Artwork will be juried by Julie Ann Shipp, Gallery Director at Collin College and TJAA member. TJAA and Dunn Brothers Coffee reserve the right to refuse any work. No nudity or profanity language is permitted. Applicants must be 18 years or older and current TJAA members. Entry fee is $20.
