2023 - Storytellers

Las Laguna Gallery is seeking submissions from artists creating works of art that tell stories. Works can be open-ended, allowing viewers to draw their own conclusions, or designed to tell a specific story. Artworks may relay apparent anecdotes, narratives, plotlines, or parables. Acceptable mediums include acrylic, airbrush, alcohol ink, ceramics, charcoal, collage, color pencil, computer art, digital art, digital photography, drawings, encaustic, fiber arts, glass art, graphite, gouache, illustration, mixed media, new media, oil, pastel, pen and ink, photo assemblage, printmaking, sculpture, traditional photography, video, and watercolor.

All artists who submit will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on the gallery's website and client list. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at the brick-and-mortar location in Laguna Beach, California. Entry fee is $31.00 with an additional $2.00 media fee per image. Submit 1-20 images. Notification date: September 11, 2023. Exhibition dates: October 5-28, 2023. Commission split: 65% artist, 35% gallery. Open to all local, national, and international artists.
