2023 Open Studio Tour

The Tubac Center of the Arts invites artists to participate in the 2023 Open Studio Tour, a marketing opportunity for serious professionals and a supportive environment for new and emerging artists. The tour takes place March 10, 11, and 12, 2023 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, extending from Nogales in the south to Sahuarita in the north along the I-19 corridor. Artist studios must be located between Sahuarita and Nogales, Arizona along the I-19 corridor. Artists are encouraged to partner with other artists to encourage visitor traffic.

Participation fee is $100 for TCA artist members and $150 for non-members. The entry fee includes tour participation, catalog listing, advertising and promotions, and participation in the OST Preview Exhibit with Opening Reception (February 24, 2023, 5-7 pm). Tour artists may contribute one piece to the Open Studio Tour Artists exhibition held at the art center from February 25 to April 4, 2023, at no additional cost. Due to gallery space limitations, works may not be larger than 30 inches wide and the number of pieces accepted will be capped. Artists may also submit an image for consideration for the annual poster art contest for an additional $20 entry fee. The winning poster artist receives free entry fees for the following year's OST and advertising promotion of their image. The original work of the winning poster image must be available for exhibition during the OST Preview Exhibit and must be for sale.

Eligibility: Artists 18 years or older living or working in Southern Arizona along the I-19 corridor between Nogales and Sahuarita are eligible. Work sample requirements: submit 1-2 images. All fees are non-refundable. Contact [email protected] or 520-398-2371 for questions.
